A New Zealand branch of the Japan Karate Association Japan

The Japan Karate Association/World Federation/New Zealand (JKA/WF/NZ) is officially registered and affiliated with the Japan Karate Association in Japan (the worlds largest and most prestigous karate organisation).

Our goals are to promote JKA karate in New Zealand and teach our members JKA karate in its purist form as guided by the JKA Japan.

We actively encourage participation by men, women, children and family groups.

Members have the wonderful opportunity to train under high ranking instructors from JKA Japan who visit the JKA/WF/NZ for the purpose of upskilling our karate and to conduct gradings.

Grades are recognised and registered with the JKA headquarters.

Members are encouraged to set and achieve personal goals in their training and if they wish, to enhance their karate training by travelling to Japan for advanced training and competitions.
